Hello strangers

It has been quiet some time since I blogged, hopefully get back into swing of things. Has been a busy few months relocating from Manchester, and now in the lovely Glasgow Ceramics studio on a 6 month residency. Been working away on a few new pieces, and settling back into the Scottish living

Currently working on developing some vessels so hopefully get some images up soon :)

Studio

So today I got keys to studio :) going out to buy myself some shelves and a desk tomorrow. Can not wait to get my kiln switched on, it shall be a beautiful day when I am able to unpack its first firing, but for now it sits patiently. Hopefully only a few days to wait :)

So after a hectic few days stand is set up and we are exhibiting! Still to have a proper look around but level of work is fabulous.

Instagran!!!! I hve just discovered this fantastic app! I'm a little behind with technologies.

New designers counting down!

Only one more day until I will be on train down to new designers. Have had mock up of stand and it is looking ace. Another exciting week of exhibiting and networking.
Very strategically setting out work for mock up, a photo to remember to get raw plugs... Still haven't got raw plugs... And the evidence of manual labour from us suffering students... Ex students?

So would like to say that my website domain has been purchased and is currently under construction, so hopefully in the next fortnight a full gallery of work will be available online. A new email address is currently being set up but for now any enquiries please dirrect them to the following.

Degree show over.. Hello new designers

As well as uni now being over the degree how is to, I'm quickly realising student life is over! After the mayhem of assessments I never thought I would say this but, I actually can not wait to get back into making.

So plaster slabs, slips, old test pieces etc etc.... Etc ate now filling my car into I move into my studio space at AWOL at ancoats. So come end of new designers I can crack my lovely new kiln out and get a making!!

Very much looking forward to the VIP event tomorrow evening, going to take this opportunity to grab some images of other great work that is on show. Finally got to take a look around textiles and illustration today... some fab work !!!
